Птицы: самые легкие и самые тяжелые

Birds: the lightest and the heaviest

Even if we had huge, light wings, we wouldn’t be able to fly.
We are to heavy.
A goose (from the tip of the nose to the tip of the tail) and a six year-old boy are the same height. But one boy weights the same as five geese!
A swan is about the same height as an male adult, but weights six times lighter.
The lightest bird on Earth, the bee hummingbird, weights the same as a 10 cent coin. The heaviest bird, the ostrich, weights about one hundred kilograms, like a very big male adult.
Ostriches cannot fly.
The heaviest flying bird is the great bustard. A male weights twenty kilograms.
Before, the champion ‘heaviest flying bird’ was Argentavis magnificens. It weighed about half an ostrich and had a wingspan longer than the height of a giraffe.
Unfortunately, the species are extinct.

Неплохо, но много ошибок. to heavy - TOO heavy. Geese don't have noses, they have beaks. weights - WEIGHS В последней фразе непонятно, кто именно вымер. Некий вид.
