Ladybugs
- Musya, what is your favorite animal?
- Ladybug, of course! Don’t you see?
Yes, I can really see! Musya even has a bathing suit with ladybugs on it, 12 count. Musya went with her mom and dad to the sea to teach her ladybugs how to swim. In the beginning the ladybugs were scared of waves and they didn’t succeed much. And then all 12 learned how to swim. Then in a week it was hard to get them out of the water and Musya as well.
But it is time to leave. Musya was packing her stuff into her suitcase, and that’s when she found out that the ladybugs are missing! All 12 of them! Bathing suit is here, but the ladybugs disappeared!
- Oh – mom said – I can’t believe I washed it like that?!
Musya thought differently about that. She didn’t even cry.
The airplane was late and they were in the airport for a long time. Musya pushed her nose against the window glass and saw the reason. Across the aerodrome a tiny red snake was crawling and all the airplanes just let it go. The snake came closer now she could see that it was the 12 ladybugs crawling one by one. They have crossed the aerodrome reached Musya’s family at the airplane’s ladder. Musya opened her suitcase a little then the ladybugs quickly got inside.
Nothing needs to be told, that all 12 ladybugs appeared home in their places on Musya’s bathing suit. Looked like they were a bit sorry. They really wanted to go for a swim at last, that they were almost late for the airplane!
- Okay – sighed Musya – let it be. Looks like I have to go to the pool with you!
