From the Sky
In the morning I found a star in the pocket of my jacket. She had slightly pointy edges and she was warm. I dancingly squeezed the pocket with my hand so that the light from the star wouldn’t be seen.
“Hello,”she said. “I’m Star. And who are you?”
“I’m Mishka,” I just said. “How did you get here to me?”
“From the sky. I fell… Are you going to let me go?” asked Star.
“Yes,” I said. “Of course! Today - in the evening.”
As soon as it got dark, I put her on my palm, held her next to an opened window and let her fly away into the sky.
But in the morning I found Star again.
“Hello,” I said. “Did you fall accidentally again?”
“No,” Star said. “This time I did it on purpose… But are you still going to let me go in the evening?”
“Don’t worry, I will always be letting you fly away.”
