Stepped on a foot.
When I stepped on my director’s foot I didn’t know that he was a director. He told me this himself:
“So, you stepped on a director’s foot!”
I stayed quiet.
“Why so quiet?” asked the director. “Nothing to say?”
I nodded.
“Great!” yelled the director. “You stepped on a director’s foot and you’re nodding! You must be happy with yourself?”
I shook my head no.
“No just look at him!” the director said angrily “Shaking his head like nothing happened! Like he didn’t just step on the director’s foot! Do you know what I could do to you?”
I nodded.
“You know? Then what is it?”
“you could step on my foot as well,” I suddenly realized. “Then we wouldn’t fight.”
The director thought about it for a second and stepped on my foot as well. It almost didn’t hurt.
And we didn’t fight.
